What's In Ned's Head??????

We (Terry, Peyton & myself) were invited by one Mr. Brodie Mann to come and play What's In Ned's Head today.  B called me this afternoon after hockey practice and said "This is Brodie Mann...will YOU and PEYTON and TERRY come to my house and play Ned's Head?" I replied, "yes, honey, we will when do we need to come" he says "5 more minutes...BYE" LOL he gave us so much time to get there lol.  If you have never been introduced to Ned's Head let me tell you....it is interesting at best!! You stick your hands into this over sized cloth head by way of holes in his ears and mouth....nice, I know...what makes this experience even better is the fact that you draw cards to see what you need to "find" in Ned's Head and it is things like a used q-tip to find Ned's earwax, his brain, a stinky gym sock, bird poop with a worm in it...YES, you read that correctly... :)

I have never played a game like this and though some of the items were a tad gross I though, we had a blast playing it with Brodie!  Blayd came by every now and then and just jammed his hand in  a hole and pulled random things out lol, I think my favorite thing in Ned's Head was the alien visitor!  He looked just like the aliens they portray in all the Roswell documentaries and such with the weird shaped head and eyes.
Fun was had by all and after a game of football in the backyard we ended our fun visit and headed to the house.  Thanks for inviting us over, Brodie!!!!

New Year, Still the bad blogger...lol...

Yes, Yes, I KNOW I said I was going to be a better blogger and here it is the 5th and I STILL haven't even posted the first "Happy New Year" or ANYTHING!!!

Mother & Peyton left the Thursday before New Years and went to Marietta to spend some time with our Aunt Lynnie & Uncle Gare so Terry & I were left to our own devices for any New Years festivities.  My friend Ashley called and asked us to come over and watch the UGA game, grill out and shoot some fireworks for New Years so that is exactly what we did!  I am not a UGA fan at all so their loss did not make me cry at all  - sorry to my UGA pals :) -  we had a good time with good friends and PTL no one was injured when the guys were shooting ( I called it "playing with" lol) the fireworks. 

Lesson Learned on New Years Eve:  EXTREMELY DRY GRASS AND FIREWORKS DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT GO TOGETHER!!!! (just ask Marc...tee hee)

   Tim & Ashley now have a VERY LARGE black circle in the backyard!!!

Yummy fudge, with some extra sugar ;)

Peyton & Brodie took to making Peyton's famous yummy fudge she makes every year at Christmastime.  It really is YUMMY - this year, however, it will be extra sweet as there were Brodie-sized bites out of the chocolate cubes before they were melted down.....lol.....Happy Holidays everyone!!!

So, Peyton had to make a box for her "cheer sister" on her school squad.  This box is to keep their apparel and other junk in.  I think it turned out great!

We went to this little Arts & Crafts thing down on Broad in Sat and Peyton & Her friend Heather took pics in all those misc, random really weird sculptures downtown....also went into SISTA WIGS but the wouldn't let us take pic with the wigs on....WTH????  There were some really great artists there and wonderful pieces.  Not at the wig shop, but at the exhibition...lol

This is HILARIOUS!!! Ash & I refer to the expected unborn Webb child as "the bambino" and Peyton asked me the other day..."Is Ash naming the baby "Bambino"???"

LMAO....I was like....ummmm, no, honey, "bambino" is Spanish for baby...

I thought that was just too funny not to share!!!

If you are out and about...

on Veterans Parkway in the next month....right before you get to Gold's Gym (across from Old Moon Road, right past B.Merrel's) there is a huge billboard and it has Peyton's squad on it! It is congratulating them for winning the International All-Levels Championship! It will be up for a month.

Note: If you are looking at billboard, Peyton is the last girl on the right standing up!

And the results are in.....

In previous posts I told y'all about how Peyton's team, The Balled Pythons went to the International All Levels Championship and they cam in 2nd but the video of their performance would be sent out to other judges all over and the final tally from all the judges would decide the winner....well.......United Balled Pythons placed FIRST in their division!!! YAY Girls!!!! Nice way to end their 2009 season! (just found this out yesterday!)

Oh, and did I mention that we have ALREADY started practice for the 2009-2010 season...ummm.yeah......we have....started Tuesday.......only had a 3week break......big fun!

We are DONE for the season!!!!!!!!!

So we went to Panama City Beach to UCA Nationals held on the beach at the Edgewater Resort this past weekend....not a bad way to finish off a season of cheer considering they actually put the stage up on the beach and you get to sit out in the sand with your cooler and watch cheering all day. However, I have found that the mojito is now my new favorite drink! The girls finished off their season with yet another FIRST PLACE WIN!!! GO UBP!!!

My sister, Mother and nephews went down with us and all had a great time! Brodie and Blayd are so funny to watch! They do the funniest things these days!!!

International All-Level Championships

This weekend we went to Atlanta for the International All-Level Championships which our girls got a bid to...see a prior post about this....and they came in 2nd!!! Now they will be judged by an international panel against tons of other squads (the top 3 in each category were submitted) and the results from that will come out in early May, the 5th, I believe. I will keep you posted and keep your fingers crossed! Congrats, girls, you did a great job!!!!!

King Tut

So we went to see the King Tut Exhibit...and yes, it was AWESOME!!! It is really neat to think of how those folks were able to make all of those intricate things with the basic tools they had. Needless to say, I was in awe of everything I looked at!

National Champs!!!

This past weekend we went to the UCA National Cheerleading Championship in Orlando held at Disney's Wide World of Sports and MGM Studios. Peyton's team, the Balled Pythons placed FIRST in their division, Small Youth Level 3!!!! It's about time too, we have been to this competition for 5 years now and they have never managed to get those National Champ Jackets until this time!!! Good job girls and congrats!!!!

Python Performance Night

If you can you should try to come to the Python Performance Night for Family & Friends who are not able to travel to competitions. The girls do their routines and it is a lot of fun for them. Each team from the minis to the senior teams and even our special needs team do their routines one last time before we head to Orlando for the Disney World Competition. It is fun to watch and if you are not involved in the competitive cheerleading world it is totally different from sideline cheering at a football game. Come on out, it will be worth the watch!!!
